FCB expands to Geneva

The advertising agency FCB Leutenegger Krüll founded a branch office in Geneva at the beginning of 2002, which still functions as a one-off operation with minimal infrastructure under the leadership of Managing Director Vivienne Heering. "In the longer term, however, the branch will function as a full-service agency on its own," says co-owner Peter Leutenegger, outlining the future. For the time being, however, the focus will be on direct marketing.Leutenegger sees French-speaking Switzerland as a market with potential and meets the needs of clients who demand Swiss expertise. The Geneva agency's first client was the Fondation Suisse pour la Paraplégie, based in Basel, which won a prestigious mandate following a pitch (ba).
