Exxtra brings portraits to the mountain for Audi
Exxtra is launching a Facebook contest for Audi in which the winners will become works of art: their portraits will be projected onto SAC huts.
For its 150th anniversary, the Swiss Alpine Club SAC has engaged the renowned light artist Gerry Hofstetter. Through the competition of event sponsor Audi, everyone can now become a part of the light art installation "Hütten im Alpenglühn". Exxtra has created a Facebook contest which makes the winners a part of the concept - and thus art: Anyone can participate via the Audi fan page and upload a photo of themselves. Then ten portraits personally selected by the artist will be projected onto an SAC hut within the art campaign. The whole thing will be immortalized in a documentary film and an illustrated book.
Gerry Hofstetter is on tour through the Swiss Alps from April to October, where he illuminates 26 SAC huts with his light art at dusk.
