Expo-Event: New president and management
Just under a year ago, the Swiss Trade Fair Association (VMS) and the Expo + Event Association merged. The merger gave rise to the industry association Expo-Event. Live Communication Association Switzerland. With Simon Ackermann as president-elect and Ewa Ming as executive director, Expo-Event now has new leadership.
Simon Ackermann is Creative Director and partner of Habegger in Switzerland. As a TV/film director, scenographer and producer, he has been responsible for over 500 national and international shows, events and TV productions. Today, as Creative Director, he is responsible for all scenographic projects.
After completing her training as a certified exhibition and event specialist, Ewa Ming obtained a federal certificate in marketing planning and then completed a postgraduate degree in cultural management. She manages Suisse Emex, owns the Ming Event Agency and lectures on various management courses. Ewa Ming will take over the business from Claudia Schuler.
Simon Ackermann and Ewa Ming will take up their duties after the Annual General Meeting on April 22, 2010.
