A rebranding for Helvetiaplatz
On Friday, the tram and bus stops at Zurich’s Helvetiaplatz were renamed «Heimatplatz.» Who’s behind this? The agency Heimat Zürich, which is based at the square and has a suspiciously similar name, apparently knows nothing about it.
On Friday, the words "Heimatplatz" were emblazoned in blue and white on the boards of the VBZ bus stops on Zurich's Helvetiaplatz. The Heimat Zürich agency, located on Helvetiaplatz, is clueless about who is behind the guerrilla action: "We only drive cabs - but are currently in our home office. That's why we haven't seen it yet and haven't heard anything about it," the agency says.
But she wants to take a look at the next opportunity - probably around Easter 2021. The agency also feels honored that a square is being named after her: "It certainly sounds like a funny action at a time when the public space is rather slowed down.
