Effie Awards Switzerland: Application phase for jury members started
For the first time, all interested marketing and communications professionals can apply to serve on the jury for the 2026 Effie Awards Switzerland. The judging will take place in Zurich in July and September. A new co-chairmanship, consisting of Lara Jelinski (Dentsu) and Daniel Fischer (Swiss Re), will lead the evaluation process.
The Effie Awards Switzerland are opening up the application process for jury members for the first time in 2026. All marketing and communication professionals now have the opportunity to apply for the jury and actively shape the future of effective marketing communication.
Every two years, leading industry experts evaluate the most effective marketing achievements in Switzerland. Jury members receive exclusive insights into the Effie program, the evaluation process and the exchange of ideas at the highest professional level.
New Co-Presidium
The judging process will now be led by a co-presidency with Lara Jelinski (Dentsu) and Daniel Fischer (Swiss Re). The co-chairmanship solution stands for a new, collaborative jury approach that combines professional diversity, strategic depth and a holistic view of the submissions.
The judging will take place in two rounds and will be held physically in Zurich in 2026: Jury 1 on Thursday, July 2, 2026, and Jury 2 on Thursday, September 3, 2026.
The application deadline is Friday, March 6, 2026. Places are limited - the Effie management will then make the selection. Applications will be here accepted with immediate effect.
Effie Award show on November 19
On November 19, 2026, the Effie winners will be announced and celebrated on a big stage as part of the newly conceived Effie Award Show.
The key dates for the Effie Awards Switzerland 2026: Call for entries on March 9, final deadline for submissions on May 22, jury round 1 on July 2, jury round 2 on September 3 and Effie Award Night on November 19.
The Effie Awards Switzerland have been presented in Switzerland every two years by Leading Swiss Agencies since 1985. They are regarded as the national Oscars of the industry and recognize the most effective and pioneering marketing communication.
