Edipresse buys publishing house in Hong Kong

Magazines The Lausanne-based media group Edipresse is acquiring a 70 percent stake in the Hong Kong publishing house Communication Management (CM), with the remaining shares remaining with the founders, who will continue to run the publishing house. CM employs 200 people throughout Asia and has a turnover of over 40 million dollars. Its flagship publications are the Asian editions of the women's society magazine Tatler, which is published in the UK by Condé Nast. CM publishes Tatler in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing as well as in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines and has licensed the magazine to Korea and Indonesia.
