Edi. 2012: The shortlist
This year marks the thirteenth edition of the Edi. Starting today, Thursday, the nominated films can be viewed on the website.
The shortlist is marked with a Competition connected: Those who make the right guesses as to which films will be awarded an Edi. can win prizes. This year, films were submitted in the categories Commercials, Corporate, Television and Multimedia. The productions were judged in the individual categories by independent juries consisting of experts from the film, client and advertising industries. The members of this year's jury teams are published on the website.
The award stands for high quality in filmmaking. The competition is under the patronage of the Federal Department of Home Affairs and is organized and carried out by Swissfilm Association.
The winners will be announced on November 1 and honored at an awards ceremony.
In the nominated films, houses can talk, oversized bicycles can zoom around, real worlds can meet imaginary people, everyday vulgarities can spread joy and profane joie de vivre can be permanently destroyed, and the Love Song becomes a zombie movie.
