Ebookers improves Android app
With the relaunch of its all-in-one app for Android, Ebookers is further strengthening its position as a provider of mobile solutions for travel bookings.
After the company launched an Android app in 2012 and an all-in-one app for Apple devices on the Swiss market last year, the second generation of the mobile app for Android is now available as a fully native version. The new app allows users to search for worldwide offers for flights, hotels and rental cars according to various criteria on a single screen in a single app. They also benefit from mobile price advantages and special offers.
Strong growth in mobile travel bookings
The demand for simple solutions for booking trips on the move has never been so high, says Matthias Thürer, Marketing Director Austria, Germany, Switzerland, in a press release issued on Thursday. Last year, mobile travel bookings in Switzerland increased by 49 percent compared to 2012.
