The magic is in the details
At first glance, Dearzurich.com is a declaration of love for Zurich. But there’s more to it than just a tribute to the hometown of the digital agency Y7K.
Last summer, one heat wave after another swept across the Limmatstadt. People retreated to places to cool down; a little shade and something to drink, that's all they needed. It happened during a walk through the smoldering streets when the guys from Y7K realized: Zurich is a wonderful city, but the real beauty is hidden in its details. In everyday life, however, we notice little of it because of all the hustle and bustle.
Last week Dearzurich.com went live. On the website you can find yourself randomly in 25 different places of the Zwinglistadt. The film footage was realized by Y7K in collaboration with director Tobias Kubli. They capture the atmosphere in the city, on one of those hot summer days. Ruben Feurer from Y7K explains, "It's meant to convey the feeling of a spontaneous exploration tour, where you never know exactly what surprises the next corner will hold..."

Y7K hopes that more people will rediscover their own city. The website is a personal project and not intended as a travel guide or recommendation for places in Zurich. Therefore, apart from GPS coordinates, no information leads to the places shown. Awaken your inner explorer and take a new path for once. Who knows what you will find there.
