Media Another so-called "destination magazine", Alpen-Journal, is to celebrate its premiere at the Berlin tourism trade fair on March 7.Stephan Fennel, publisher and editor-in-chief of the quarterly publication with a circulation of 40,000 copies, already has experience in this magazine genre as the former publisher of Go Britain. The Alpen-Journal, which is printed by Bauer subsidiary Verlags Union, is sold throughout the German-speaking world at a price of 4.60 euros. It is not yet clear whether Fennel will have the Swiss advertising business - a color page costs 6,000 francs - managed from Düsseldorf or locally. The hottest contender for this job is currently the St.Gallen DM agency Künzler-Bachmann.
