They both take on big tasks in 2018: Barry as a progenitor ambassador of the famous Bernhard cattle breed and Martin Nydegger as the new director of the national tourism marketing organization.

Nydegger will take up his new position on January 1, 2018 (Werbewoche.ch reported). He has been a member of the Executive Board of Switzerland Tourism since 2008 and heads the Business Development division. Prior to that, he managed the ST branch office in Amsterdam for three years. Before joining Switzerland Tourism, he already held various positions in tourism, including six years as director of the Engadin Scuol tourism organization.

Martin Nydegger succeeds Jürg Schmid, who announced in May that he would be leaving Switzerland Tourism at the end of the year after 18 years. (Werbewoche.ch reported). (hae)
