Life is not a pony farm: campaign on mental stress
CAMPAIGN A campaign for the early detection of psychological stress when starting a career focuses on young people. Gymnastics star Ariella Käslin is the figurehead.

Artistic gymnast Ariella Käslin is the figurehead of the "Mentally ill? No taboo!"People with mental health problems often suffer twice: from their illness and from the convulsive game of hide-and-seek. The taboo is particularly strong in the workplace. The shame and fear of a career setback or job loss are too great. More and more young people are falling ill during the vulnerable phase of starting a career. This is why young people are the focus of the third year of the campaign "Psyche ill? No taboo!". With former gymnast Ariella Kaeslin as its ambassador, the campaign offers new support for employers, educational institutions and young people. In addition to checklists and guidelines, comic clips and "talking" cell phone batteries make the complex topic easy to understand. Migros and other companies are already using the campaign's corporate line and are seeing initial success.Ariella Kaeslin also experienced exhaustion depression during her sporting career. She is now supporting the campaign to help other young people "Psyche sick? No taboo!" of the Selo Foundation. The new campaign focus offers new, creative support for the early detection and prevention of mental stress. With comic clips, posters, cool give-aways, checklists and guidelines, the campaign puts the complex topic into easy-to-understand words. It can be put together in modules and is therefore equally suitable for companies (SMEs and large companies), training institutes and young people.
