Clever upcycling of freight wagons with Siemens standard components can save up to 50 percent fuel. The wagon and all work equipment can be operated electrically and emission-free. This benefits the environment, the workers and local residents - and is "a real game changer", especially in view of the fact that much of the work has to be carried out at night or in tunnels.
