Communicators: New Managing Partner
As of early 2014, the communications consulting firm Communicators welcomed Roland Cecchetto as its new managing partner and shareholder and promoted Liên Burkard to senior consultant.
Roland Cecchetto has been working in the financial communications division of Communicators for more than three years as a senior consultant and member of the management board. The 57-year-old has dedicated himself to communications for well over 30 years. He has held senior marketing and communications positions at the Migros Cooperative Zurich, the Bossard screw and engineering group and the Mövenpick restaurant and hotel group, among others. He also worked for agencies such as Hirzel & Partner, PRW and Diem, Gesess & Partner for other well-known Swiss and international companies. From 2000 to 2008, he was a member of the Executive Board and Head of Communications at Jefferies Switzerland, the subsidiary of the US Investment Bank.
Liên Burkard was also promoted to senior consultant on January 1, 2014. The 36-year-old has been working at Communicators for more than six years and successfully manages mandates in the areas of recycling, littering, politics and real estate. She is a qualified communicator FH and completed her studies in journalism and organizational communication at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in 2007. She also completed various internships in cultural communication and journalism during her studies. In 2011, she completed the first MAZ course on social media in Switzerland and will complete the Certificate in Strategic Communication (CAS) at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts by July 2014.
