CNBC DACH receives regulatory approval
The competition authorities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland have granted C-DACH Business News Holding regulatory approval for CNBC DACH. The German-language business and finance platform is scheduled to launch in early 2027. CNBC DACH will serve as a 24/7 multimedia platform, delivering content via TV, digital channels, social media, print, and live events.
The relevant competition authorities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland have granted C-DACH Business News Holding regulatory approval for CNBC DACH. This lays the foundations for the strategic market entry and the start of operations in the German-speaking region.
The start of broadcasting is planned for the beginning of 2027. As a 24/7 multimedia platform, CNBC DACH will report exclusively on economic and financial topics in German. The service combines CNBC's international capital market and economic reporting with in-depth regional analysis for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Multimedia distribution via various channels
The content will be distributed via TV, digital channels, social media, print and live events. A dedicated TV channel with exclusive programs tailored to the DACH region is also planned. Editorial control will be based in Vienna, Frankfurt and Zurich, supplemented by offices in Munich and Berlin.
