Cannes Lions sees record submissions
With nearly 36,000 entries from 92 countries, the Cannes Lions Festival has received more submissions than ever before. All entries can be viewed at the Palais des Festivals during the festival, June 16–22.
The Cannes Lions Festival is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. According to a press release, a record 35,765 submissions from 92 countries were received for this year's awards. For the fifth year in a row, the festival recorded an average increase in submissions of 4 percent in the 16 different categories: Branded Content & Entertainment, Creative Effectiveness, Cyber, Design, Direct, Film, Film Craft, Media, Mobile, Outdoor, PR, Press, Promo & Activation, Radio, Titanium & Integrated and Innovation Lions.

For the first time in Cannes Lions history, delegates will be able to attend the jury assessment in the Innovation Lions category live.
