Eatrenalin shines with brand design "made in Zurich
For the fine dining experience Eatrenalin, Europa-Park cooperates with the Swiss agency Distylerie.
Eatrenalin is a gastronomy event concept where guests enjoy a star-level gourmet menu while traversing multi-sensory, multi-media themed spaces. The special feature: They sit in an armchair while doing so, called a Floating Chair, a worldwide new, patented transport system. Not only the eye, but all five senses eat along - the second main course, for example, is served in the room Universe where guests can experience the weightlessness of space. "Eatrenalin offers the opportunity to escape from everyday life while enjoying culinary delights at the highest level," says gastronomy expert and co-founder Oliver Altherr happily.
The brand was brought to life by the Zurich agency Distylerie. Starting from the basic idea of "The ultimate dining experience", they developed a brand concept that is characterized by iconic and futuristic visual elements. The logo is the maximum reduction of the restaurant symbol -plate, fork and knife- and is intended to convey timeless elegance. This aspect was even more important because Eatrenalin will be experienced in several world metropolises. The brand must therefore offer room for different interpretations and extensions.
"The best brands always express themselves through an involving customer experience and that's exactly our strength - creating an immersive brand experience that touches the target audience on a deeper, emotional level," explains Damien Julien, Creative Director Distylerie. "From this perspective, Eatrenalin offers a dream foundation because the concept is immersive, multimedia and multi-sensory at its core. Moreover, the Europa-Park team has almost 50 years of experience in offering unforgettable experiences," it continues.
3D animations
For the imagery, distylerie worked with opulent spheres to suggest a mysterious world to guests but without giving too much away. "The sphere is a form you can immerse yourself in; it stimulates the imagination," says brand & motion designer Carlo Picaso, who brought the Eatrenalin spheres to life as 3D animations.
The Distylerie team crystallized the essence of the brand and was then heavily involved in the various implementations; from the teaser film to the launch campaign and website to the signage. Thomas Mack, Europa-Park's managing partner and co-founder is convinced: "Distylerie not only brought creativity, but also a lot of experience and a good instinct to the process. The result is an authentic and distinctive brand that makes an impression."
The brand has a consistent look-and-feel that conveys Eatrenalin's innovative, exciting concept through striking visuals and gives guests a taste of a surprise. Oliver Altherr is not only thrilled with the result, but also with the collaboration: "The distylerie team managed to visually bring our concept to life and make it an experience. We quickly realized: we are in good hands!"
