Brown Bag Talk on "Customer Behavior: Between Nudge and Neuro".

The next Brown Bag Talk will take place on September 20, 2022. It will be about people's decision-making and purchasing behavior - and how they can be influenced.

The "Brown Bag Series" format launched in June by HWZ Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich, Swiss Marketing Forum and AZ Konzept is aimed at managers in marketing and communication and is designed to impart specialist knowledge at university level with a practical focus.

The "homo oeconomicus" - the decades-old idealized image of the rational decision-maker - has faced more and more headwinds in recent years. In many situations, people do not make decisions rationally, using truncated processes, unconsciously or simply emotionally. Our brains want to make our work easier, which is why very few people are immune to the little nudges that we encounter almost everywhere.

The talk places people's decision-making and purchasing behavior in the context of marketing and communication and uses selected examples to show where and how we allow ourselves to be influenced.

The live talk will take place online on September 20, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
