Bonaparte separates from Marengo
The PR and event agency Marengo is released from the advertising agency Bonaparte into independence. Owner becomes, retroactively to November 1, Alex Beeler
The PR and event agency Marengo is released from the advertising agency Bonaparte into independence. Alex Beeler becomes the owner, retroactive to November 1, and at the same time leaves Bonaparte as Managing Director Consulting. In addition, Harry Sulzer takes over the shares of his partner Rolf Sperisen and becomes the sole owner of Bonaparte. Sperisen remains Chairman of the Board of Marengo. "Bonaparte has developed in the direction of brand consulting," explains Sulzer, "we want to concentrate on that in the future." After the separation, however, the companies intend to continue working together and serving joint customers.
Alex Beeler plans to continue working on product PR and marketing events. "My passion lies in the integrated below-the-line area," says the newly minted agency owner. For the coming year, Beeler anticipates striking growth in the event sector. He is also planning an offshoot in northern Italy. Beeler sees an interesting, booming market there in which he already knows his way around. (ba)
