Best of Swiss Web: Entry opened
Entries for the eleventh Best of Swiss Web Award are now open. The call for entries for the award runs until January 14, 2011.
Projects are sought in the 9 categories Interactive Campaigns, Display Ads, Technology, Innovation, Creation, Business Efficiency, Online Marketing, Usability and Public Affairs. For the Best of Swiss Web Awards 2011, the tenth category, the special category 2011, was dedicated to digital natives. In this category, Best of Swiss Web is looking for projects that have been implemented with digital natives in mind, i.e. people whose integral part of life is computer games, e-mails, the Internet, cell phones and instant messaging, according to a statement from the Best of Swiss Web team.
Projects from all areas can be submitted: from digital marketing campaigns and intranet or extranet solutions to information and knowledge platforms for public institutions. Topics such as crowd sourcing, social collaboration or user empowerment are also welcome. This category is judged in particular on the originality of the idea and the consistency of its implementation in terms of presentation, content relevance and functionality.
Both producers and clients of web and mobile projects are eligible to participate in the Best of Swiss Web Award. These projects must have gone online in 2010 or have been produced in their essential parts during this period. Entry is subject to a fee.
The eleventh Best of Swiss Web Award Night will take place on March 31, 2011 as part of a celebration at the Kongresshaus in Zurich. At the annual awards ceremony, the winners of Best of Swiss Web, decision-makers from the e-business sector and Internet creators will come together to celebrate and network.
