BCP 2015: Successful Swiss contributions
Successful Swiss entries at the Best of Corporate Publishing Award 2015: In addition to numerous silver awards, Namics, Primafila, Corpmedia, Ergon Informatik and Studio Marcus Kraft win gold.
Having already set a record for submissions with 729 publications, this year's BCP Best of Corporate Publishing breaks another record: More than 720 guests accepted the invitation of Forum Corporate Publishing (FCP) to the Alte Kongresshalle in Munich on Thursday. For the 13th time, the Forum and its media partners - including Werbewoche - hosted the BCP Congress and the subsequent BCP Corporate Publishers' Night.
In the evening, the coveted BCP Awards were presented in front of around 680 guests. Journalist Hajo Schumacher, who also moderated the congress during the day, guided through the festive award ceremony in the Old Congress Hall. In the end, 50 award winners - including numerous Swiss entries - in 28 categories and four times as a special award were able to enjoy the shining BCP cubes and golden certificates.
At this year's awards ceremony, four publications that are Gold Award winners for the third time were also honored with induction into the Hall of Fame. In the future, they will be permanently presented in the BCP Chronicle as outstanding examples of continuous quality in corporate publishing.
Migros and Namics gild the annual report
Migros' 2014 annual report, the M14, won the Gold Award at the Best of Corporate Publishing congress in Munich on June 18, 2015. The online annual report won in the "Digital Media Corporate Report" category. The M14 was realized by the Federation of Migros Cooperatives in collaboration with the Namics agency. The jury of experts praised the work as a "well thought-out concept with a very good structure, coupled with service-oriented functions and perfect user guidance - without superfluous frippery". The Migros annual report has been published exclusively online since 2009. The M14 has a responsive design and is based on the specifications of integrated reporting.

A silver award was given to VivaiMigros' feel-good and sustainability magazine in the "B2C / Retail / Consumer Goods" category. This is Vivai's second award, following the Gold Award in 2011. Migros produces Vivai in-house.

Gold for Corpmedia and BABS
The Zurich agency Corpmedia wins gold in the category "Digital Media - Video / Explainer Film" with the awareness film "Are you safe?" for the Federal Office for Civil Protection (FOCP). The Alertswiss film is intended to help sensitize the population to the issue of individual emergency preparedness. It shows that an effective contribution to improving security can be achieved with simple measures and little effort. The film is an important element for the new channels for informing the population about disasters and emergencies, which the FOCP has been operating since February under the name Alertswiss. "The idea of implementing the serious topic in a playful, light way by means of a 3D animation with a tinker sheet look helped us win the pitch," says Corpmedia CEO Timo Wäschle.

Double gold for Primafila
The Primafila agency was awarded gold twice: Both in the category "Best Crossmedia Solution / Industry" for Siemens, as well as in the category "Employee Publications" for the magazine Bystronic People. Primafila won silver in the categories "CP-Excellence" with "Fire & Ice, Living Energy" for Siemens, "B2B Industry/Technology/Automotive" with "Urban DNA" for Siemens and in "Digtial Media - Video" also for Siemens with "Siemens Living Energy Documentary Series".

Gold for "The Engineer is King" IT promotion brochure
"The Engineer Is King" (PDF version) was created by Ergon Informatik as part of its 30th anniversary and reflects the company's long-standing commitment to promoting young IT talent. The brochure, in which ETH professors and CEOs/CIOs of Swiss companies also have their say, is intended to present the fascinating job profile of computer science in a new, unconventional way and to get young people interested in computer science and in studying computer science, and won gold in the category "Speicals and Annuals - Corporate Magazine Service/Trade" at the BCP 2015. It also aims to make the Swiss public aware of how relevant computer science is for the business location and that computer engineers are part of the great tradition of Swiss engineering.

The entire brochure celebrates the computer engineer - just as it is successfully done in Silicon Valley, but with a pinch of humor and by putting the creativity and versatility of this profession in the foreground. A picture book in which each double-page spread is new, surprising and idiosyncratic. Held together by typographic elements and short introductory texts per section. The mix of infographics and illustrations is intended to be educational and entertaining at the same time, as well as emotionally appealing. The jury appreciated that the brochure not only "whets the appetite for the job of a computer engineer", but also "shows how creative and exciting so-called MINT professions can be, i.e. mathematics, computer science, natural science and technology". The brochure was designed by Micha Treuthardt and Cornelia Gann, Treuthardt Gann, Zurich and printed by Neidhart + Schön, Zurich.
