MS and RBC become MS Direct
The marketing service providers MS Mail Service in St. Gallen and RBC Solutions in Meilen are now operating under the same name, MS Direct. This creates one of Switzerland’s leading full-service providers in the fields of marketing, customer service, and logistics.
The two companies, which have been working closely together in the same group of companies for years, complement each other ideally, the company announced on Thursday. MS Mail Service bought the majority of shares from RBC's main shareholder Heinz Rohrer in 2007. Since then, the two companies have belonged to the same group of companies, but had their own brand presence. The former head of RBC, Tobie Witzig, will become CEO of MS Direct. The company employs around 900 people and generates an average annual turnover of around CHF 100 million. According to Milo Stössel, Chairman of the Board of Directors and head of the entire group of companies, there will be no job cuts. On the contrary: "We want to continue to grow together with our customers," he is quoted as saying in the press release. For the time being, there will be no changes at the company locations in St. Gallen, Meilen ZH, Muttenz BS, Wittenbach SG, Adligenswil LU and Lauterach in Austria. (SDA)
