Allmedia 17: Solution approaches for a successful digital turnaround

At Allmedia, the annual conference organized by CS Communication Suisse—the French-speaking Switzerland chapter of the umbrella organization for commercial communication—more than 200 specialists from the fields of advertising, marketing, and communication gathered in Lausanne on Tuesday to discuss the future of the advertising industry in Switzerland. It is an industry that has a bright future if it can adapt quickly and flexibly to the new digital media landscape.

Allmedia 17 was a success thanks to exciting panel discussions on the future of media and commercial communication in the digital age, lively discussions and a remarkable keynote speech by Mercedes Erra, Executive President of Havas Worldwide and partner of the BETC agency in Paris, which is also part of the Havas Group. Throughout the morning, the experts presented interesting solutions for a successful digital turnaround for Swiss media companies and the communications industry.

Allmedia 17 gave François Besençon, President of the French-speaking Switzerland section of KS Kommunikation Schweiz, the opportunity to outline the main concerns of the umbrella organization for commercial communication in the current year to an interested and knowledgeable audience - from emphatic intervention in the political debate, where it threatens to restrict the freedom of advertising, to active support in the transformation of job profiles and training in commercial communication.

Patrick Zanello, who organized the event as in previous years, concluded Allmedia 17 by referring to a recent European study. It states that investing one franc in advertising generates seven francs in the real economy.

Allmedia 18 will take place in Geneva in January 2018.
