Last but not least: And Bohlen DOES care about his image
Dieter Bohlen is not necessarily known for caring much about his image. This is not the case with the advertising contract with sausage manufacturer Wiesenhof, which is accused of cruelty to animals.
A group of Peta activists didn't like the fact that Bohlen was advertising the so-called "Bruzzler". Without further ado, they gathered in front of his villa - with dead chickens and a three-meter banner reading "Wiesenhof's chickens would spank Bohlen". The banner also showed a comic drawing of a chicken hitting Bohlen on the backside with a carpet beater. And lo and behold, the pop titan was impressed and terminated the advertising contract with the sausage manufacturer.
According to Welt online, Mr. Bohlen's lawyer claims that he apparently did not find out exactly who he was representing before signing the contract. We learn in kindergarten: think first, then act and not the other way around. Even when there is a lot of money at stake.
