Last but not least: SVP sun abused

The Graubünden committee “Yes to Harmos” has made an embarrassing mistake. The supporters of the concordat mistakenly used a flyer bearing the SVP logo—of all parties, the very one that is opposing the proposal nationwide.

The Graubünden Yes to Harmos committee has made an embarrassing mistake. The supporters of the Concordat have mistakenly advertised on a flyer with the SVP logo, the very party that is fighting the bill nationwide. But if the SVP has its way, the sun has nothing to laugh about at this point.
How did the whole thing get rolling? The non-partisan committee also includes the newly founded Civic Democratic Party, which was formed after the expulsion from the SVP. For unknown reasons, perhaps out of habit, a mishap occurred. The tried-and-tested SVP emblem found its way onto the flyer.
The executive committee of the SVP Graubünden condemned these "unfair advertising methods" in the strongest possible terms. The SVP logo had been misused, the party announced. SVP President Jon Peider Lemm called on the committee to stop distributing the flyers.
Already done, according to the committee. According to campaign manager Curdin Mark, the distribution of the flyer was already stopped on Tuesday last week after the error was discovered by himself.
Now the flyers must be reprinted as quickly as possible - and without using the SVP emblem - because a vote will be held in Graubünden on November 30.
