Last but not least: Mini Kiosk

To promote Coca-Cola's new mini cans, Ogilvy Berlin set up mini kiosks. A real eye-catcher!

For environmental reasons, the trend should actually be moving away from beverage cans. Nevertheless, beverage manufacturers are finding this shift difficult. On the contrary: Let’s recall, for example, the launch of Rivella cans last year—it’s hard to understand why that was really necessary. The cola can, however, has a particularly large following. This is less surprising, since the drink simply tastes better from a can than from a PET bottle. The only thing that actually tastes better is the stylish—but impractical and, depending on how it’s used, dangerous—glass bottle.

At first glance, Coca-Cola’s launch of the 1.5-deciliter can doesn’t make much sense, but on second thought, it makes a lot of sense. After all, when you’re craving a Coca-Cola, that craving is usually satisfied after just one or two sips of this sugar-laden, acidic bomb. The rest is usually just an unnecessary extra. The tooth fairy thanks you.

To promote the mini cans, Ogilvy Berlin set up cute mini kiosks in five German cities—complete with mini chairs in front! In addition to the mini cans, other mini products were also available for purchase. The enthusiasm of passersby, on the other hand, was huge—at least according to the case video. But in this case, we’re happy to believe it—if only because of the mini chairs. (hae)
