Sack strong timing
A few weeks after the viral Balenciaga hit, Ikea launches a campaign in honor of the world's most famous shopping bag.

In March and April, the French luxury label Balenciaga unexpectedly helped the Swedish furniture multinational make a grand entrance. The fashion house launched a blue bag costing 2000 francs.

The web was quick to agree: an emulated Ikea bag copy. In addition to thousands of posts from social media users, Ikea around the world also humorously exploited the snapshot. Also by Ikea Switzerland:
Haha, we'll gladly leave it up to you guys to decide which bag to choose.... https://t.co/Hg65TJbY8k

As if one had suspected it, Ikea is now launching its own campaign in honor of the robust, timeless cult bag, which provides loyal and reliable service to people all over the world, even outside the yellow and blue furniture stores. Unlike its "colleagues" from Coop, Migros and Co., the Frakta bag is virtually indestructible, even after prolonged use and heavy use.
Acne was responsible for the prompt response campaign to the Balenciaga bag shown above. No coincidence, as the Swedish agency had already been working since February on the now launched Fakta campaign about the "most hard working bag in the world". And was therefore already very familiar with the subject when she was unexpectedly confronted with the worldwide bag hype. At the end of May, the film "The Blue Bag" was released - and it would have been even without the support of Balenciaga. (hae)
