Studio Thom Pfister immortalizes the tailors' guild in a book

Studio Thom Pfister was commissioned by the Bern Tailors' Guild to develop a concept for documenting the guild's history and to design the book about the guild hall.

Architectural historian Sigfried Moeri has delved into the archives of the Burgerbibliothek to trace the history of the guild house and the guild from its first mention in 1383 to the present day.

Under the title "Das Zunfthaus", the result of this meticulous research is now available as a piece of history in a modern guise. An extensive collection of illustrations and photographs, staged by Studio Thom Pfister, unfolds between high-quality linen-covered book covers. The content is designed with great attention to detail and clearly structured with pastel-colored pages. The neon accent on the endpapers and the foil stamping on the cover add a modern touch.
