Schroten shows Regensdorf from its urban side
The Zurich-based storytelling agency Schroten showcases the appeal of the Zwhatt development in Regensdorf in a new TV commercial. The fast-paced film illustrates how rural urbanity is taking shape just 17 minutes by S-Bahn from Zurich.

Just 17 minutes by S-Bahn from Zurich city center, a new form of rural urbanity is emerging: the Zwhatt area right next to Regensdorf-Watt station. The Zurich storytelling agency Schroten was commissioned by Pensimo Management AG to develop a cinema spot that presents the special features of the new urban quarter in a humorous way.
The film dispels a prejudice right at the beginning: It doesn't rain any more often in Regensdorf than anywhere else in the canton of Zurich. And there is definitely too much going on here for a 'village'. The fast-paced spot shows the many advantages of the new district - from different types of apartments, kindergartens and green spaces to leisure and commercial areas.
Together with cameraman and director Tom Gibbons, Schroten developed a series of images that also showcases the extensive local recreation area. For rainy days, the district also offers alternatives such as a sauna, a bicycle repair shop or simply your own four walls for a movie night.
The commercial is currently running in cinemas in the Zurich region as well as on Connected TV and social media. Adrian Schräder (overall responsibility), Nicola Brusa, David Fehr and Michèle Roten (editing) and Leonie Moeri (project management) are responsible for the realization at Schroten. Production was carried out in collaboration with Tom Gibbons (director, DOP, editing) and other specialists for sound, grading and VFX.
