LSA Bootcamp 2025: Creative ideas for Ovomaltine from young agency talents
One week, three teams, one common goal: to capture the energy and zest for life that defines Ovomaltine. At this year’s Leading Swiss Agencies (LSA) boot camp, young agency talents developed creative campaign ideas for the iconic brand in a very short time.
At the beginning of the week, Ovomaltine faced the young talents with a real briefing. The challenge: to develop a creative campaign that strengthens the brand, anchors its relevance with new target groups and at the same time has an activating effect.
Three groups, each with a different target group focus, developed a strategic and creative overall idea: from the derivation to the choice of media to the concrete implementation. The clear goal: to further strengthen Ovomaltine as a love brand.
Learning from the professionals
The boot camp participants were accompanied by experienced experts from LSA agencies, who supported them in short impulse seminars and in-depth coaching sessions. Topics such as strategic creation, media planning, digital production, content marketing, PR and advertising law were taught in a practical manner and directly at the client briefing.
This year's participants were Simone Jehle (Wirz), Angelo Sciullo (TBWA Switzerland), Romana Schmidtpeter (Neu Creative Agency), Andreas Hugi (furrerhugi.), Adrian von Velsen (Havas Media Zurich), Natascha Imfeld (Jung von Matt), Gisela Widmer and Matthias Müller (Ogilvy), as well as Dr. Marc Schwenniger (LSA Legal Services).
The highlight: the presentation in front of a jury of experts and Ovomaltine
At the end of the intensive boot camp week, each team presented its campaign idea directly to Ovomaltine and a panel of experts from the communications industry. In addition to strategic thinking and creative implementation, the target group understanding and brand tonality were also evaluated. Because at Ovomaltine, a tongue-in-cheek sense of humor and the unmistakable orange hue are just as much part of the DNA as energy and joie de vivre.
At the end, all participants received the well-deserved LSA boot camp certificate. As a sign of an intensive week of learning and a successful entry into the professional agency world.
The LSA boot camp is a project for young talent organized by the LEADING SWISS AGENCIES (LSA) association. It is aimed at new employees and career changers at LSA agencies and offers practical training, insights into real client projects and valuable contacts within the industry every year.
