AI spot series "Clients": Dieter Boller shows what clients really think during presentations
Zurich-based copywriter and creative director Dieter Boller continues his humorous AI ad series «Clients.» In Episode 3, the focus is on the pitch—and it exposes the gap between creative enthusiasm and the inner monologues of decision-makers.

After the successful start last year, in which an internal debriefing and client meetings were dramatized on the tennis court, Dieter Boller continues his commercial series "Clients". Episode 3 focuses on the "spectacle" of the presentation.
Creative dance vs. inner monologues
The new episode shows a creative presenting an expressive dance performance. A metaphor for the enthusiasm with which advertising creatives try to win over their clients with ideas. Meanwhile, the voice-over reveals what the audience actually thinks: the clients' inner monologues range from helplessness and boredom to the unmasking of classic agency tactics.
"Creative people sometimes tend to lose themselves in their own enthusiasm. There's a certain tragicomedy in how much self-perception and external perception can diverge when presenting ideas. I don't exclude myself from this," says Dieter Boller. "This episode is an incentive to engage creatives who are able to develop campaigns that really capture the attention and hearts of the target groups."
Self-promotion with high reach
The series, which sees itself as a humorous look at the uncomfortable truths of the marketing and advertising industry, remains true to its distinctive style in the new episode: the setting is set in the look of the 1980s, it is produced with AI and, of course, the obligatory tennis reference is not missing.
"Clients" serves as a creative showcase for Dieter Boller's services as a freelance copywriter and creative director. The films are played out specifically on LinkedIn and other B2B channels and are aimed at marketing, advertising and communication professionals.
