Wirz for Graubünden Holidays: New online platform "Kinderwelt
The new «Kinderwelt» online platform from Graubünden Ferien offers vacation inspiration for the whole family. In the web app, the iconic ibexes Gian and Giachen show off their favorite spots from the children’s books—and much more.
In the new web app, the two ibexes are the starting point for family vacations in Graubünden. At Kinder.graubuenden.ch, the cult ibexes help readers of all ages find the perfect vacation spot.
To benefit from the service and begin the journey through the world of Gian and Giachen, you simply scan a book page with your smartphone or tablet - and you know exactly where the book's settings are. With the embedded Google Maps function, you can find your way there in the real world. But on-site information boards also point the way.
The app designed by Wirz is not limited to the locations known from Gian and Giachen's children's books. It also points out places in the Engadine, Savognin and Surselva. In addition, you can find out how to get there comfortably with the Rhaetian Railway.
With "Kids' World", the selected partners of Graubünden Ferien are thus launching not only an entertaining translation of the world of the Alpine ibexes into the digital world at the start of the sports vacation weeks, but also a concrete service for vacation guests that will be steadily expanded in the coming months.
