Scholtysik & Partner supports pioneer project for a multigenerational palliative care center

A private initiative is making a difference in the healthcare sector in north-western Switzerland and is pursuing an ambitious goal: the planning and realization of a large palliative care center for all generations, especially children and young people. With a professional appearance, the aim is to attract well-known supporters.

The "More Life" association was founded in December. The name is derived from "More life for the last days", a saying by Cicely Saunders, the founder of modern palliative medicine. In a very short time, the association succeeded in gaining broad support for the project: Medical and scientific experts, politicians from the right and left, representatives of churches and associations and, above all, important Basel institutions such as Regio Basiliensis and the influential Christoph Merian Foundation.

The association sought professional support for this at a very early stage. The project was calculated with experts from the healthcare sector and a realistic business plan was drawn up. The association called in Scholtysik & Partner for the presentation. The task: design and communication had to win over potential supporters for the project. "Good intentions alone are no longer enough these days. Non-profit organizations are fighting for attention and trust just as much as commercial companies," says Fabian Sander, co-founder of Scholtysik & Partner. "The more ambitious the goal, the more donors and advocates pay attention to whether the organization behind it appears credible. The budgets are small, of course, but even a minimum of professional branding and design makes a big difference."

Responsible at Scholtysik & Partner: Carsten Scholtysik, Zoe Heeb ( Logo, Brand Design, Web Design); Fabian Sander (Project Management).
