Forb: Personal claims rules for Emmental Insurance

Emmental Versicherung is launching a nationwide campaign to raise its profile. The focus is on personal claims rules relating to everyday and bizarre insurance cases. Forb is responsible for the implementation.

As a property and liability insurer, Emmental Versicherung is currently known in Switzerland primarily in the agricultural sector. This is set to change. The independent customer cooperative based in Konolfingen has more than 230 agencies across the country. Following its 150th anniversary, the insurance company intends to further expand its brand awareness among private individuals and SMEs from fall 2024. The insurance company will be supported strategically and creatively by the Forb agency from St. Gallen.

With drive and rural charm

Whether the shampoo starts foaming in the drugstore due to water damage or a new driver unhappily parks his car between a calf and a suckler cow, Emmental Versicherung is there for its customers quickly and easily. This is what the current campaign aims to convey. Stories from everyday life are taken up with personal damage rules that are based on farmers' rules and superstitious weather forecasts with a wink. These show when and where quick-acting insurance is crucial. Thanks to decentralized structures and geographical proximity, this promise is actually part of the program at the independent customer cooperative.

The campaign will be launched from October 2024 with four different subjects on news sites, social media and YouTube. The images will also be displayed on posters and screens on public transport in rural areas and sub-centres of German-speaking Switzerland. The campaign will be continuously expanded in line with the seasons and current conditions.
