Ex Libris and Brinkertlück Switzerland: Give Donna something from Leon

Ex Libris is using the names of well-known authors to provide gift tips for Christmas - and thus promote its wide range of products at Christmas.

Every year, the whole of Switzerland asks the same question: what can you give as a present? Ex Libris gives gift tips in a DOOH and online campaign - because Christmas time is and remains the best time to read. This is communicated with a headline mechanic that plays with the names of well-known authors. The result is an activation campaign with a hard call-to-action that is still fun to read - and therefore fits perfectly with the brand's new "joy of reading" positioning.

The ads will be displayed on OOH and DOOH billboards and online. Ex Libris' promotional weekends will also be advertised, where customers can benefit from discounts on games, music and films online and in stores. There are also discounts on selected e-books over the holidays. This way, the new readers that may have been under the Christmas tree can be loaded with reading pleasure. Ex Libris is also planning to launch its own e-reader this year, in which the entire Ex Libris e-book store ecosystem is already integrated.
