DPD anniversary campaign: time travel through 30 years

In a social media campaign marking its anniversary, DPD Switzerland highlights everything that has happened over the course of its 30-year history: technical aspects of its own business, fashion trends, and characteristics of the '90s.

How does the recipient get to the parcel? The new DPD campaign, developed by the Zurich agency Bild mit Schuss, shows the development since the nineties, from the laborious search in the telephone book to the online application myDPD. But with witty anecdotes, it also tells how the content of the packages has changed: What was that again, the cell phone from 1993 or how the fitness world has evolved, etc.

The seven short videos are played monthly and supplemented with a competition. The goal is organic reach: DPD followers can tag their colleagues with whom they would like to share the prize. The videos have been broadcast on the DPD Switzerland channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Tiktok) since April until November.

Numerous DPD Switzerland employees stood in front of the camera for the video shoot.
