Tamedia has developed Basel Newspaper, BZ Bernese Newspaper and its regional editions, The Covenant, Tages-AnzeigerZurich regional newspapers, and the daily newspapers in western Switzerland have developed a new digital subscription with modular options. The new basic subscription has been available since the end of April. Now the digital subscription is being supplemented by three additional options that can be purchased individually according to one's own needs and combined as desired. The options include "e-paper," "access with 10 instead of 3 devices," and "ad-free (few exceptions).

The new digital subscription is currently being promoted on various online channels, including social media, with a user campaign developed in collaboration with the Rod agency. With a wink of the eye, the aim is to convey to readers in a humorous way that the equivalent value of information, background and analysis with a subscription is great for a comparatively small financial contribution.
