The answer buries the old advertisement for Rent a Pensioner
The creative agency Die Antwort has completely redesigned the Rent a Rentner portal. The comprehensive brand and communications relaunch includes a fresh visual identity and a new campaign that plays on humorous childhood photos of real retirees.
The creative agency Die Antwort presents the complete relaunch of the well-known Rent a Rentner portal. Launched in 2009 as the world's first platform for booking pensioners for small jobs, the website has been given a contemporary update.
The new look is based on strong lime green as the leading color, modern typography and a generous white layout. The imagery shows self-confident senior citizens actively contributing their experience. The booking process has been optimized with clear fields, intuitive navigation and responsive design throughout - whether on the move or in the office, clients can find suitable pensioners in just a few clicks.
The new campaign says goodbye to the once controversial "old bags" and "old boxes". The founders have created a farewell video:
Instead, the campaign relies on humorous youth photos of real pensioners. Headlines such as "Former cut-up. Now a hedge trimmer." or "Formerly a "Träfflibueb. Now a chauffeur." show that age is above all a matter of attitude. "Forever young" is the overarching claim across all platforms.
The new portal is already live and the campaign is currently being launched with posters and a digital campaign.
