The 50th General Meeting of ADC Switzerland focused on the outlook for the anniversary year 2026. The creative club reaffirmed its importance in the age of artificial intelligence and is planning a spectacular Creative Week in June. ADC Switzerland celebrated its 50th members' meeting on September 25 at the office on Zentralstrasse in Zurich. This was a significant milestone, as the club was founded in the Kronenhalle restaurant on January 10, 1976. ADC President Thomas Wildberger sees the continued interest in the club as confirmation of the importance of creativity: "With regard to AI in particular, it has become clear that the generation of ideas is still something that has to do with human intelligence, namely creatives who show how it's done. This was once again evident in the award-winning work at the ADC Awards in June."

The club has long since developed into a multifaceted platform that offers numerous activities for young creatives, the Ad School and Coffee Cases in addition to the judging and award ceremony. The Creative Days have become a magnet for the industry. "Our last Creative Days were held under the motto 'Orchestra of Wizards' and wonderfully demonstrated the magic with which industry representatives are able to enchant," explains Wildberger.

To mark its 50th anniversary, the ADC is introducing a new membership category for long-standing members. The alumni category is open to members who have been members for at least 20 years. The new "Social & Creators" category at the ADC Awards was also a complete success. "It was great to see that ADC Switzerland obviously also has enormous appeal for influencers," says Manuel Wenzel, a new member of the Board of Directors.

There was a change of personnel on the Board of Directors: Michael Hinderling stepped down and Manuel Wenzel, Head of Creative at TBWA Switzerland, joined the Board. The new Board was confirmed with applause and consists of Thomas Wildberger (President), Stefanie Huber (Vice President), Philipp Skrabal (Vice President), Andrea Bison, Gordon Nemitz, Andy Lusti, Romana Schmidtpeter, Raul Serrat and Manuel Wenzel.

ADC is planning various activities for its anniversary year 2026, including a longer Creative Week at a spectacular location in June. "The ADC can look back on 50 fascinating years - and is now looking forward to a completely new era that brings with it many uncertainties. But true creatives are not afraid of the new," summarizes Thomas Wildberger.
