75 years of Tchibo: "We are part of the family"

Tchibo is celebrating its 75th anniversary with special promotions and an exclusive anniversary film that chronicles its success story from 1949 to 2024. For one week, Café Crème will be available for 75 rappen in stores, along with numerous other offers as a thank-you to customers.

To mark its 75th anniversary, Tchibo is inviting its customers to go on a journey through the company's history. From September 9 to 15, 2024, a cup of café crème will be served for 75 centimes in Tchibo stores. This limited-time offer is a reminder of the long tradition of coffee house culture, which is of central importance to the company.

Over the next four weeks, Tchibo will also be running other promotions to thank its customers for their time together. An anniversary rarity is being offered in the coffee bean range, while the Qbo capsule machine with milk function is available for CHF 75 instead of CHF 169. There is also a competition to win a year's supply of coffee beans 75 times over. There are also various offers in the online store and grocery stores to accompany the anniversary period.

The specially produced anniversary film, which will be available online, offers a special insight into the company's eventful history. It shows the development of Tchibo since it was founded by Max Herz in 1949, when the business model was characterized by sending coffee by post. The film also highlights the introduction of stores from 1955, the transformation to a provider of non-food items in the 1970s and the continuous expansion of the product range and corporate philosophy to the present day.
