TikTok tests "Q&A
The video app TikTok is testing a «Q&A» feature for content creators that allows them to answer questions from their fans during live streams and in videos. Creators can add a dedicated option to their content that lets their followers submit questions. This allows them to see, all in one place, what their fans want to know from them.

"Users can add a Q&A button to their profile that allows followers to ask questions," explains social media consultant Matt Navarre on Twitter. Until now, it was only possible for producers to take fan questions in comments on their individual videos. The Q&A feature is intended to make it easier to address a variety of questions and communicate more directly with followers.
As TechCrunch reports, only users with more than 10,000 followers can participate in the test at the moment. There is no limit to the number of questions fans can ask. However, the content producers do not have to respond to every request. In the coming weeks, the feature will be available to more users.
Competition had feature already
TikTok's overwhelming popularity continues unabated. In 2020, the app for short video clips was at the top of the download charts (Werbewoche.ch reported). But the Q&A function is a feature that competitors have been doing for a while, including Snapchat and Instagram. (pte)
