Swiss media start the social media year 2020 at full throttle
Various media outlets—including 20 Minuten, NZZ, and Le Temps—have gotten off to an interactive start to the new year. This is evident from the Storyclash ranking for January 2020.

Swiss television SRF has now developed into a real social media heavyweight. The SRF channels achieved over 2 million interactions in January, by far the most on Instagram (over 1.5 million). This means that Energy Switzerland - which is actually alone at the top - suddenly has some competition in the battle for the Swiss social media crown. However, the buffer is still a comfortable 1.3 million interactions.
With a good 1.7 million interactions in January, the 20 minutes (+27%) - in contrast to its direct competitors, however, the Tamedia title is still particularly strong on Facebook and provokes the most user reactions on this channel (1.3 million).
In addition to Izzy (+27%) also increases the NZZ considerable (+50%). Even the old lady is still mostly on Facebook. Also Le Temps has made a veritable start to the new year with an increase of +98%. Responsible for this is an article about Credit Suissewhich achieved over 60,000 interactions on Facebook.
There was an explosion of interactions on the Polizei.news (+1500%) page. The reason for this is the post with the most interactions of all - a missing person report on six-year-old Lena. Whether it makes sense to list such sites in the media ranking is at least questionable and ultimately remains the decision of the start-up Storyclash, which makes the selection based on the official Austrian media definition.
Izzy also achieved a small viral hit with a post ("How to beat call centers at their own game"), generating almost 120,000 interactions.
