Kuble - House of Intelligence develops AI avatar for mental health
Kuble - House of Intelligence has developed the AI avatar "Ella" for the "Etwastun?!" web platform. The application was developed in collaboration with Angestellte Schweiz and WorkMed and is designed to offer low-threshold help for mental health challenges.
"Ella" is an AI-based avatar that is not intended to replace a mental health professional, but rather to act as a digital conversation partner to impart knowledge and encourage self-reflection. It was developed on the basis of occupational psychology research and the professionally tested content of the web platform "Do something?!". Users can communicate with "Ella" by text and voice, while conversations remain anonymous and secure.
The application is designed to help people in stressful situations by making psychological issues accessible without making diagnoses or carrying out therapeutic interventions. Olivia Schiffmann, Partner at Kuble, explains: "We developed 'Ella' to make evidence-based psychological knowledge accessible in a respectful way - around the clock, securely and anonymously."
Digital first aid
Mental stress is often associated with shame and uncertainty. Digital conversation partners such as "Ella" aim to lower this barrier and make it easier to start discussing your own well-being. As a solution that can be accessed at any time and from any location, Ella is available wherever support is needed.
The technical infrastructure of "Ella" is based on Swiss data centers and reportedly meets all data protection and ethical standards.
