Joiz gives itself a new concept for its anniversary

MEDIA Joiz went on air five years ago. On January 25, 2016, Alexander Mazzara, CEO and co-founder, presented the new concept for the channel: "Mobile First". The aim is to ensure that content is not simply posted on the web, but can also change with the influence of the community. The new "Mobile First" concept is based on the experience of Joiz's German offshoot of the same name, which has already been working successfully with it for nine months. When Joiz went on air five years ago, just three percent watched the content on their mobile phones; today it is 70 percent. In order to do justice to this development, the focus is now on the topics and not the show. So the new websitewhich went online on January 25, has been reorganized by topic and designed for mobile use. The associated advertising campaign will also be launched in two weeks' time, underlining the concept with typical Joiz slogans.<span] One of the print posters, source: Joiz"Grown up now"However, the campaign is not aimed at teenagers, as many expected: "Joiz was never a youth station; our viewers are mainly 20 to 25-year-olds. Now we want to become a little more adult," says Alexander Mazzara, underlining his statement with the composition of the target group. For example, 50 percent of Joiz viewers are between 20-25 years old, followed in second place by 25-30 year olds and only in third place by the under-20s.Proven and new broadcast formatsIn order to do justice to the concept and the target group of 20 to 25-year-olds, the studios have been given a new look. The "Living Room" music show has also been given more space for live performances. The show "Noiz" is now broadcast live every day. And the new "Snapshow" format has been created, which is filmed close up and is only two to three minutes long. There are also plans for a larger live show on Sundays and a game show. A new position has also been created to focus even more on national topics: Marguerite Meyer has been appointed editor-in-chief.Sample of the new Joiz format "Snapshow":
