Successful premiere for "Paul is coming too"
EVENT Around 200 participants, two exciting forums on the topics "Be digital!" and "Be authentic!" and 10 "Wok-Shops" on current communication topics: The first Communication Day St.Gallen, initiated by the PR Association of Eastern Switzerland/Liechtenstein (PROL) and the Advertising Club of Eastern Switzerland (WCO), celebrated a successful premiere.

A well-filled Pfalzkeller - here with speaker Nadine Stutz and speaker Peter Gross - practically in the middle of the audience: the first edition of the St.Gallen Communication Day attracted almost 200 participants. In addition to PROL and WCO members, all those who deal with communication in their professional or private lives were also invited to this new conference. In the first forum, the well-known St.Gallen sociologist Peter Gross and Raiffeisen digital manager Nadine Stutz met to discuss the topic "Be digital!": while the "inventor" of the multi-option society took up the cudgels for "offliners", the social media expert spoke out in favor of making a conscious decision about which channels to use (privately or professionally).Wide range of topicsThe "Be authentic!" forum brought Councillor of States Andrea Caroni and TV presenter Gülsha Adilji into conversation. They described in a relaxed manner how they deal with the public's expectation of authenticity. While WCO President Roger Tinner had hoped at the beginning of the conference that as many participants as possible would take an active part in the discussion, PROL President Anita Schweizer was able to draw a positive conclusion at the end: The new forms of discussion, some of which were almost experimental, were well received and the participation of participants in the debate was significantly higher compared to conventional conferences.Next year on March 10The St.Gallen Communication Day, whose name "Paul kommt auch" (Paul is coming too) is reminiscent of the great communication expert Paul Watzlawick, is to be held annually in future. The next date has already been set for March 10, 2017.
