The packaging must be noble and attractive

REFINED PACKAGING "Packaging Innovations Zurich 2014" from March 26 - 27, 2014 offers a good opportunity to be inspired by fresh ideas. For example, from the innovative designs of students on the "Packaging, Design & Marketing" Master's course at Stuttgart Media University. They will be presenting their exhibits at their own stand (DB1) in Hall 6 of Messe Zürich in an exclusive setting.

The Stuttgart Media University will show some packaging ideas at the fair.Finished packaging puts products in the best possible light and scores points with its unique appeal. There are virtually no limits to creativity, as demonstrated by the designs of students at Stuttgart Media University (HDM). The exhibits originate from ongoing project work in the "Packaging, Design & Marketing" course. In a visitor survey conducted by easyFairs® the majority of the trade audience had requested design suggestions on the subject of "Refined Packaging".Some concept examples at a glance:-       "Frites Noires: The product is packaged in premium French chocolate of the finest quality in discreet, appealing colors. The task for the students was a request from an organic company that would like to expand its product portfolio with an organic variant. The packaging is made of uncoated bagasse cardboard on both sides. Bagasse is the waste product of sugar cane processing, so the whole thing can be classified as very ecological. The packaging is blind and hot foil embossed. (Picture 1)-        "Accolade Roads: Want a new T-shirt? The concept combines music and streetwear through the format of a vinyl package. Inside is a folding aid for folding the T-shirt. (Image 2)-       "BRYGG: It looks like a whisky bottle, but it is a non-alcoholic drink that is supposed to warm you from the inside. Presented here is a cross-semester project of HDM students, in which the complete process from the initial idea, marketing and production itself is constantly being worked out. (Fig. 3)-       "Crystals: This versatile, all-white packaging features a polygonal, surprising design and unusual shape. Detailed information on use and material can be obtained directly from the exhibitors at the trade show at booth DB1/Hall 6. (Image 4)-       "Nomster Cookie: The colorful packaging cubes show large rows of teeth when opened and thus look a bit like voracious monsters - with delicious contents and thanks to a funny design to make you smile. The design of a cookie package impresses with a high shelf impact due to the protruding package parts and the unusual graphics. (Image 5)-       "Doe Bros: A noble packaging for high quality handmade cookies, using only organic and high quality ingredients. The cookies are rounded off by the exceptional packaging made of sandblasted glass and the display made of wood with branding. (Fig. 6)On the background to the small special show, Sabrina Cassata, easyFairs project manager Packaging Innovations, says: "The demand for high-quality finished printed products is increasing. Modern concepts offer effective finishing potential that makes an impact. Noble does not necessarily have to be expensive. This is demonstrated by the students of the Hochschule der Medien (Media University), who are presenting their fresh ideas in Switzerland for the first time. "The practical relevance of the Hochschule der Medien is highly valued in the business world: the "Packaging, Design & Marketing" chair is in close contact with numerous industrial companies and also has cooperation agreements with Swiss companies.
