No Show!
You'd think June would be one of the best months for organizers of promotional events.
Experience shows that no-show rates of 50 (!) percent and more are not uncommon in such dream weather. After work, people quickly head to the nearby garden pub for an aperitif and - due to excessive perspiration - remain glued to their chairs. A feeling of inertia sets in: "So you're still going to this event? Without me - let's eat right here and then we'll go straight to Kaufleuten," is probably the general tenor. A worrying attitude that is spreading. The fact that a lot of people put a lot of effort into each event is unfortunately forgotten.
This is what happened at the Jean Frey publishing house's big courtyard party. Only half of the 350 or so people who registered turned up. But this turned out to be a great advantage for those present. There were no long queues at the buffet or waiting times at the bar. The spacious lounge area, the cool sound and the summer drinks created such a relaxed atmosphere that no garden pub or swimming pool could have kept up. Nevertheless, some of those responsible for the party could not hide their slight disappointment.
But let it be said: "Your work was worth it!" The guests were so satisfied that they did not hold back with their expressions of sympathy. And word of mouth will ensure that a lot more people will come next year (if they are still invited).
The Hoffest is not intended to remain a one-off event; an institutionalization is planned. Especially as Jean Frey does not always have big anniversary parties (Bilanz) or relaunch parties (Weltwoche) like last year. And if everything works out, sturgeon barman Bossi and his crew will certainly be back again. Once again, he proved to be a safe bet when it comes to good drinks. His classics and some new creations, with or without alcohol, contributed to the good mood of the guests. Anyone who missed this party has only themselves to blame.
Wonderful drink creations sweetened the evening.

Pledge of allegiance from Budapest
Telekom Contexta shows Swisscom why it's not worth constantly switching providers for Talk and Surf.
audience. But finally a place in the front row. But not for long. Security quickly removed the smart guy from his VIP seat, rudely of course. The moral of the story: it's not worth trying to gain an advantage by constantly changing (seats)!
Cost-effective loyaltyContexta wants to use the "analogy from real life" to get the message across to the audience with a "dose of schadenfreude". The proof of loyalty is provided in the credits of the film by the current "Talk & Surf" offer from Swisscom Fixnet. For just CHF 79 per month, this package includes a landline connection, ADSL from Bluewin and unlimited weekend calls. Including ISDN, this costs a whole 98 francs a month.
The commercial was produced by Zurich-based Pumpkin Films, together with German director Jan Wentz, just like the traffic jam jammer. For budget reasons, Swisscom moved to a concert hall in Budapest for the shoot. Since then, 300 young Hungarians have been waiting to be allowed to make calls to Swisscom.
For the new Swisscom TV commercial, Budapest's young people were smuggled into a concert hall, where they realistically mimed elbow capitalism that doesn't pay off in Switzerland over the phone.

A shaken mass of Orangina drinkers: TV commercial from ZKG for orange-flavored table water.
The Orangina storyThe drink made from carbonated orange juice and fruit pulp was developed by the Spanish pharmacist Trigo. He presented the recipe under the name Naranjina at a trade fair in Marseille in 1936. Until 1962, the drink, renamed Orangina, was produced on an orange plantation in Boufarik, Algeria. With the country's independence, La Compagnie Française des Produits Orangina relocated to Marseille. In 1984, Orangina became part of the soft drinks division of the Pernod-Ricard Group, which sold this segment to Cadbury Schweppes in 2001. Since January 2003, the former Orangina Pampryl and Schweppes France have been trading as Orangina Schweppes. The number one non-alcoholic beverage company in France (excluding colas), Orangina Schweppes holds around 40 percent of this beverage sub-market worldwide. Its turnover amounts to 600 million euros.
