Ruf Lanz continues the award-winning Hiltl image campaign with new subjects
Ruf Lanz continues the Hiltl campaign. Now the big carnivores are showing that there is a vegetarian in everyone.

According to Guinness World Records, Hiltl in Zurich is the first vegetarian restaurant in the world. It was founded in 1898 by Ambrosius Hiltl and is now run by Rolf Hiltl in the fourth generation. Since 2006, the Hiltl communication has come from the kitchen of Ruf Lanz. In addition to the opening campaigns for new Hiltl locations and specific themed campaigns, the creative agency also designed a long-term image campaign in 2016.
Using the example of native carnivores such as cats, wolves, foxes and eagles and their natural prey, it was shown that ultimately there is a vegetarian in everyone. According to Rolf Hiltl, the tongue-in-cheek campaign was "very well received by the public and also won several awards". (Including two silver awards from the Art Directors Club Switzerland).
Now comes the sequel: this time with notorious large carnivores such as the great white shark, lion, crocodile and grizzly bear. The four lovingly illustrated subjects are used as advertisements, posters and in various online applications.
