Money sets the world in motion. It connects and creates, is coveted and missed. It is omnipresent - and yet far more than just everyday life. It is precisely from this perspective that the Moneyverse in the Kaiserhaus Bern has created a new place that makes the topic of money accessible in a surprising, tangible and contemporary way.

The Moneyverse is an initiative of the Swiss National Bank in collaboration with the Bernisches Historisches Museum. The Wirz Group was responsible for the development of the brand and its strategic and communicative translation.

Money as a social and emotional force

The Moneyverse does not focus on the purely historical or technical communication of money, but on the question of what role money plays in our lives: How does it permeate our everyday lives? How does it influence our decisions? What does it trigger in us? And how does it move us as individuals and as a society? The Moneyverse creates a place of experience that focuses on precisely these questions - interactive, approachable and relevant, especially for young target groups.

The Wirz Group's task was to translate this multi-layered content into an independent, attractive identity. To this end, the agency developed the name Moneyverse and thus created the basis for a brand that conveys the complexity of the topic of money as well as the fascination of the location itself.

From concept to digital implementation

In addition, the Wirz Group developed the communication concept, implemented the website and supported the development of advertising materials such as posters, social media and videos for the website. The aim was to create a consistent brand image that would give the Moneyverse a strong presence and translate the content of the project into an accessible, contemporary language.

In cooperation with the implementation partner Extra Virgin from St. Gallen, the digital development not only included a comprehensive website with an integrated ticket store, but also information screens and an accompanying app for tours of the exhibition with school classes.

In this way, a challenging exhibition project was transformed into a brand with its own profile and high appeal: open, relevant and attractive. A place that not only informs visitors, but also involves them. A place where money does not remain abstract, but can be experienced as a social, personal and emotional force.
