The Directorate General for Post-Compulsory Education (DGEP) of the canton of Vaud is launching an ambitious campaign to promote vocational training in 2026. Under the title "C'est aussi ça, l'apprentissage" (Apprenticeship is like that too), the aim is to make apprenticeships more attractive to young people at the end of their compulsory education and their parents. Implementation is in the hands of Agence Trio, which has been working on the project since summer 2025.

Creativity meets professional development

The campaign is based on a clear concept: it shows trainees in real but unexpected professional situations, highlighting the concrete, stimulating and fulfilling dimension of the professional career. This creative decision is the result of a survey conducted for the DGEP, which revealed that enjoyment is one of the decisive criteria when choosing a post-compulsory education.

Multichannel strategy for maximum reach

The campaign is designed as an integrated system and is played out across several channels: Three main subjects and advertising videos ensure a presence in public spaces (OOH), on public transport and in cinemas. Video clips highlighting the everyday lives of trainees will be used on social networks. In addition, the platform monapprentissage.ch digitally activated to provide important information about careers and vocational training opportunities.

Through the combination of OOH/DOOH, social media and web, the campaign combines impact, attention and conversion with the aim of improving the perception of teaching and increasing its attractiveness.

Meaningful collaboration with a social impact

For Agence Trio, the collaboration with the DGEP is in line with its own approach of developing campaigns that combine creative requirements, dissemination strategies and social impact. Catherine Fleury Ruckli, Head of Communications at the DGEP, is satisfied: "This campaign is part of a comprehensive action plan to raise the profile of vocational training in the canton of Vaud. Agence Trio has convinced us with a comprehensive project that appeals to young people. We look forward to continuing this active and fruitful collaboration throughout 2026!"

The campaign will be publicized in the canton of Vaud with posters, digital formats and a web platform. Over the course of 2026, further content will be created to continuously bring the campaign to life.
